About
Parent life
At St Mary’s we encourage parents to be actively involved and stay up-to-date with what’s happening in their daughter’s school life.
This section is solely dedicated to those parents who want to keep abreast of what’s happening in school, and to network with other like-minded parents. Each St Mary’s parent automatically becomes a member of the St Mary’s Parents’ Society. This society enables and encourages social interaction, community engagement, charity support, public relations, and fundraising. The Parents’ Society hosts a Big Walk, a Golf Day, a Carnival and other social functions for parents’ enjoyment. Get involved and make a positive contribution to your daughter’s life and school.
St Mary’s Parents’ Society
Each St Mary’s parent automatically becomes a member of the St Mary’s Parents’ Society. This society enables and encourages social interaction, community engagement, charity support, public relations, and fundraising. Parents can serve on committees and help run events during the year. This gives them a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents and to work toward improving the life of the school. Get involved and make a positive contribution to your daughter’s life and school.
Parents who pray
Families that pray together, stay together. Our motto ‘Service Before Self and God Before All’ is at the centre of the school’s value system. As a faith-based school, we encourage all our parents to join any one of our fellowship services and to partake in prayer.

The MySchool campaign helps more than 9 000 schools get what they need to give kids the education they deserve. We are a proud supporter of this incredible initiative and are grateful to those parents who swipe their cards at various MySchool partners around the country. If you do not have a MySchool card, please visit www.myschool.co.za and make sure you select ‘St Mary’s DSG Kloof’ as your beneficiary. Remember the more you swipe, the more you help us reach our annual target.
