Grade R
Nurturing the Wholesome Whole Child! At St Mary’s, we believe in nurturing the whole child, providing a balanced and holistic foundation that fosters growth in mind, body, and heart. Through play and exploration, our Grade R girls embark on an exciting learning adventure, blending indoor and outdoor experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.
Grade 1
Nurturing wONEderment! In our future-fit environment, learning is dynamic with interactive smart boards, coding lessons, and flexible classrooms. Our Creativity Centre sparks new ideas, while compulsory sport ensures balanced growth for both mind and body.
Grade 2
Grade 2 is a time “2 Grow”—a journey filled with discovery, independence, and confidence! Our girls strengthen their faith through chapel, assemblies, and Religious Education, while expressing their creativity in music and drama.
They engage in inquiry-based learning that sparks curiosity and critical thinking. Every fortnight in the Creativity Centre, they explore new ideas and unlock their unique potential.
Grade 3
Grade 3 is all about the ‘Super Cs’—Courage, Connection, Celebration, Curiosity, Compassion, and Creativity.
The girls engage in community-building activities, with parents celebrating their journeys in weekly ‘Super Kid’ sessions. Coding fosters problem-solving and critical thinking, preparing them for the future, while leadership shines through in class mentoring and the Junior Primary play.

Grade 4 & 5
The St Mary’s Grade 4 Signature Programme is where young minds embark on a journey beyond the classroom! Through the exciting world of music, design & construction, integrated studies, and robotics, our Grade 4 Girls learn to stretch their imaginations and grow independently.
Our Grade 5 girls are on a quest of self-discovery and growth! By engaging EQ skills, problem-based learning, and hands-on experiences, they’re empowered to think independently, solve creatively, and grow into the best versions of themselves
Grade 6 & 7
The grade 6 and 7 Signature Programme at St Mary’s encompasses the development of essential life skills and leadership qualities among the girls. It includes activities focused on conflict resolution, relationship building and encourages serving both the school and the broader community.
Our Programme enables the girls to take on leadership roles, such as being mentors or “big sisters” to the younger grades, fostering a sense of responsibility and community.

Grade 9
Unlock your daughter’s potential with the St Mary’s Grade 9 Signature Programme! Our iWoza Wednesday modules immerse girls in project-based learning, fostering a sense of creativity and critical thinking.
Our Business Studies and Entrepreneurial module equips girls with real-world skills—writing business plans, research, selling products, and engaging with fascinating entrepreneurs. This programme equips girls with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in any career path, ensuring they become confident leaders of tomorrow.
Grade 10
Unlock a world of adventure and lifelong friendships with the St Mary’s Grade 10 Signature Programme called ‘Destiny.’
The programme includes girls completing ‘The Journey’ – a 20-day outdoor experience in the Drakensberg mountains through camping, hiking, paddling, cycling and horse riding. The Journey is a challenging experience which promotes the development of communication, problem solving, decision making and leadership skills, all while making memories that last a lifetime. It is a special time of reflection, adventure, mental, physical and spiritual growth and the lessons learnt on the Journey extend way beyond any classroom curriculum.
